Amy Langrehr is a food writer and social media consultant based in Baltimore. Driven by an insatiable curiosity about food - its origins, farmers and creators, she covers the Baltimore’s food and beverage scene with a contagious enthusiasm. She also raises chickens in the backyard of her Hampden rowhouse.
While she’s always been interested in cooking, she didn’t get serious about it until a trip to France several years ago. She had a bit of culinary epiphany in Paris. Something just clicked. Back in Baltimore, she was inspired, ready to cook and ready to write about it. Her Charm City Cook blog and Instagram are rich resources for those who want to learn more about the growing food scene of Baltimore. Just recently Amy took the creative’s leap, quit her longtime job in Development and Alumni Relations at Friends School of Baltimore to start her own social media consulting firm. Her client base is small, locally-owned businesses here in Baltimore, a city she loves very much.
