Jeremy Mitchell, Founder and Creative Director of Nashville’s Mitchell Bat Company tells his story of how he created a business based off of his love of baseball. The idea was simple: create baseball bats with stripes on them and give a portion of the profits to a charity that helps revive baseball in inner-cities. He started a baseball bat company with no bats and it quickly caught the eye of ESPN, Ralph Lauren, Ebbets Field Flannels and many more.

Jeremy Mitchell is the CEO & Creative Director of Mitchell Bat Company. He has worked in advertising for the past 10 years in Nashville, Tennessee. Jeremy’s focus for the past decade has been building digital platforms and rich media content for clients such as HBO, Deloitte, Dave Ramsey, Army National Guard, The State of Tennessee, Nashville Sounds and Salemtown Board Co.

In 2013, Jeremy launched Mitchell Bat Co as a side project and it quickly caught the eye of ESPN, Ralph Lauren, Martha Stewart, Oprah Magazine, InStyle, Country Living, Dwell Magazine and many more. The Mitchell Bat Co team hand paints each bat in various stripes and color patterns. They have made custom bats for such clients as Jack Daniel’s, Budweiser, Hershel Supply Co, Fruity Pebbles, Topps Baseball Cards, Ebbets Field Flannels, Invisible Creatures and PF Flyers.

Jeremy is passionate about baseball and has turned his love for the game into a profitable, growing business that is able to give back to a charity that focuses on Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities.
