About this FieldTrip

LIFT Fusion integrates mobility, flexibility, stability, and strength into a progressive flow that builds in complexity. This class promotes muscle and joint health while enhancing cognitive function. Suitable for all fitness levels, LIFT Fusion combines varying modalities like Pilates, Yoga, Primal Movements, Calisthenics, and BARRE into a smooth, time-efficient routine. You are encouraged to explore movement, stay curious about your progress and the things you’re still working towards, and most importantly – have FUN while moving. LIFT Fusion welcomes all fitness levels looking to increase their longevity.

✨WHAT TO EXPECT

✔️ We will begin this movement session standing. Participants will be encouraged to begin with eyes closed and guided on the intention I have for their practice - curiosity of movement, mindful movement, and FUN . I will guide participants through a centering breathing exercise before we begin our movement practice.

✔️I will then take participants through full-body mobility exercises to feed and nourish the joints.

✔️We will then add layers of varying movements and complete the 45-minute routine with more complex movement chains while encouraging curiosity, acceptance, and fun.

✔️We will then close the movement session with a guided mini-meditation.

✔️Participants will then be welcome to express their experience and ask any questions.

🎒WHAT TO KNOW OR BRING

✔️ A yoga mat & space to roll out your yoga mat

✔️Comfortable clothes to move in and some water are all that is needed for this class.

✔️Props are not necessary, however, if you have a yoga block or meditation seat, please feel free to have them nearby.

ABOUT YOUR HOST

K'an Mejia has over 25 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, backed by numerous nationally accredited certifications – NASM CPT, 200 hr RYT, STOTT Pilates mat 1-3, STOTT Pilates Reformer and Chair, AAAI – Group Fitness, to name a few - and holds a BS in Health and Physical Education. Her teaching degree influences her unique approach, helping clients understand their bodies and movements rather than simply following instructions. Recognizing the strengths and limitations of the many modalities she was certified in, K'an created LIFT Fusion. This innovative approach combines elements of Yoga, Pilates, BARRE, Primal Movements, and Calisthenics into one cohesive, efficient, and seamless sequence, for a well-rounded workout each and every time.
