Anjali Bhatnagar

Anjali Bhatnagar is the managing director of Design without Borders. She was born and raised in India and moved to Norway for higher studies. She holds a PhD in Physics and has been working with Telcom/GIS technology and design companies for the last 15 years. Prior to DwB, Anjali has worked as director of products at Telenor and Geodata and as director of projects for design companies like Creuna and Halogen in Norway.
Anjali is not a designer by expertise, but calls herself a 'design missionary'. While being responsible for the commercialisation of products, projects and service development in her present and past work, she has had the privilege of working with some of the best service- and system oriented designers in Norway. She believes that design thinking can be a major contributor when developing products and services - not only for the commercial- and public sector, but also for humanitarian aid.
