For #cmend, we have a special event planned! We’ll welcome Vanessa Grossl, who started “Savor: An Immigrant Entrepreneur Oral History Project” to moderate a discussion among some of Lexington’s leading immigrant culinary entrepreneurs, Alma Kajtazovic (Sorella Gelateria), Lesme Romero (Lexington Pasta/Pasta Garage) and Ilias Pappas (Athenian Grill). We’ll hear each of their stories on how they “ended up” in Lexington, KY and what they’ve contributed to our creative and internationally-flavored culinary scene. We’ll have food samples and time to meet and greet with our speakers before the event!
