Geetika Agrawal is an India-born designer, and the founder and CEO of Vacation With An Artist (VAWAA) â a global platform offering mini-apprenticeships with master artists and craftspeople worldwide. From JĆmon pottery in Japan to natural textile dyeing in Mexico and shoemaking in London, Geetika believes that craft is the next frontier of wellness, essential for feeling alive and connected.
Before launching VAWAA, Geetika spent 13 years designing products and experiences for leading brands. She served as Creative Director at R/GA, designed an IRL adventure game at Disney, and taught interaction design at the School of Visual Arts. She also created "Food For Thought," a unique traveling dinner series across 12 countries where travelers host meals for locals. Her work has received international acclaim and has been featured in renowned publications such as The New York Times, The Guardian, SXSW, National Geographic, Vogue, and Condé Nast Traveler. Geetika is a stubborn optimist, firmly believing in the abundance of good in the world, a belief that she instills in her work and those around her.
