Francesco MATTINA aka MATT
with a background in architecture and set design, he worked as a concept artist for cinema before being hired by Marvel Comics as a cover artist on Fantastic Four, Nova, Thunderbolts, WarMachine, Punisher, MoonKnight, Wolverine and more recently for Spider-Man 2099 and Avengers Undercover. He also worked for DC Comics’ Batman Confidential, Redhood , Azrael and The Joker's Asylum, Justice League.
His works include artworks for Marvel Studios, Warner Bros and DC Comics Licensing division, Activision, Radical Publishing (on Ryder on the Storm, After Dark and Exile) and Boom Studios (Elric, TheHypernaturals, Rinse). He also teaches Illustration and American Comics at Turin’s Scuola Internazionale di Comics.
Founder of Italian Job Studio with Giuseppe Camuncoli, Stefano Caselli, Riccardo Burchielli and Diego Malara.
He’s currently one of the main artist working on Marvel best-selling game War of Heroes.
