Embracing Pride, Overcoming Adversity and Living with Confidence
This interview-style event shares a personal journey of triumph over bullying, guiding attendees to embrace self-love, reclaim their power and foster a strong sense of pride.
About the speaker
"Embracing pride unlocks potential, allowing us to overcome self-doubt and to take control of our lives," says Flo Nicolas (she/her). In this CMPKX interview event, Flo shares her story of moving from torment to triumph and the role a healthy sense of pride had in that journey. Flo says:
"From childhood, I faced relentless bullying, leaving me insecure and unable to recognize my worth. Relationships and work were affected, leading to self-hatred. Along my journey of self-discovery, I learned that I lacked not only self-esteem, but also a sense of pride and self-love.
Without pride, we risk being mistreated and undervalued. With a healthy sense of pride, we become powerful forces, capable of achieving great things and inspiring others to do the same. Let us all take pride in who we are, accept our individuality, flaws and all, and celebrate our accomplishments with joy and confidence."
