Innovative Finance at the GAVI Alliance, Kiva Fellow, Citizen Diplomat, DJ Forza tells her story.
About the speaker
DJ Forza is the co-founder of GENEVA+Acumen, a Kiva Fellow and works in innovative finance at the GAVI Alliance, where her team operates as an internal think tank through concept development, to implementation of innovative finance mechanisms to save children's lives by increasing access to immunisation against vaccine-preventable diseases in the world's poorest countries.
Originally from Seattle, DJ earned an MBA from the University of Washington, and is currently working on her doctoral thesis in diplomacy. DJ is an adventurer; having traveled to all seven continents, 101 countries and summited Kilimanjaro. Her travels and volunteer work as a Habitat for Humanity Global Village team leader have strongly reinforced her belief that everyone deserves the dignity of equal access to the tools and resources that allow for a self determined way out of poverty.
