Since Generative AI has become part of our processes, we have been striving to understand how to design a new generation of products with immense complexity concealed beneath a straightforward user-facing appearance. We have chosen to call these new user journeys “Cognitive Experiences (CEx)” as they do not merely react to inputs but grow and evolve alongside users, understanding their intentions and delivering unexpected results. These experiences can vary greatly depending on their purpose and context; therefore, we developed a tool to guide both ourselves and our clients through the process, the “CEx Compass”.
