Craig Picton

After moving to the city of Derby for University, Craig very quickly fell in love with the area, its people, its culture and the abundance of opportunities that it has to offer. He has a passion for giving people a voice, seeing lives transformed and getting creative initiatives that benefit the local community off the ground.

He started his career in digital marketing at one of the UK's first social media marketing agencies. And has since gone on to found both his own digital marketing agency (Sticky Bee Marketing) and a community focused, non-alcoholic bar that aspires to revolutionise the night time economy, particularly surrounding its drinking culture (YADA Collective CIC)

Craig believes in the power and importance of community and a significant element of YADA Collective involves creatively building and engaging with people typically excluded from social norms.

Craig also coordinates the communications for local homeless and poverty prevention charity, Derby City Mission.

In his personal life, he has a passion for rustic woodwork and also loves to be out and about exploring the countryside, hiking, Geocaching, and general outdoor activities.
