Celeste Malvar-Stewart

Celeste Malvar-Stewart is the fashion designer behind DeconSTRUCTURE in Chaos, a collection of Avant-garde clothing created from deconstructed post-consumer denim that would otherwise have been waste. Much of the denim was deconstructed by hand down to fibre form, respun with local wool on a drop spindle (hand-spun yarn), hand-woven, and hand-felted to create new fabric. HANGAR 391 is the home of multiple brands of designer Celeste Malvar-Stewart, including MALVAR = STEWART, MALVAR Home, and Guildhall Clothier.
