Carlo Blengino

Carlo Blengino lives in Turin and is a lawyer. He deals exclusively with criminal law cases, with special reference to professional liabilities, economics criminal laws, intellectual property rights, crimes involved with IT and new technologies, defense of privacy and personal data.
Since the early nineties, he was involved in the Courts main issues related to file sharing (the famous case on the download - Cass. Pen. 149/07- and the Peppermint case), ISP liability (he was member of the defense team for Google Inc. in the Google vs. Vividown case), and in privacy and cyber security crime (Anonimous and Haking Team cases), so that he has acquired a concrete experience in the field about criminal aspects of the legislation on copyright, privacy and ITC laws.
He's fellow of NEXA Center for Internet & Society at the Politecnico di Torino.
He contributes with some newspapers (Nova-IlSole24ore) and on-line journals, and his works are published by Giappichelli, UTET, EGEA, and Aracne
