About the speaker
Neftali Morales is a Chicago based comedy writer-performer, improviser and a solo performance artist. His sensibilities lie at the intersection of Guillermo Del Toro and a Pixar animated short. Neftali recently wrapped up his solo show run of Man-Y-Faces at The Annoyance Theatre and was recently cast in The Revival Theatre’s Winter Sketch Revue. Neftali has performed his solo work at Bentwood Comedy and Paper Machete at The Green Mill. Neftali has been an ensemble member of Trigger Happy at The Annoyance Theater and currently improvises in A Tribe Called Uncanny a latinx music improv adjacent troupe, while always performing solo material around town. Neftali is a graduate of The Second City’s Conservatory, Music Conservatory and writing program, as well as The Annoyance Theater, The Neo-Futurists’ Infinite Wrench course, iO Chicago and ComedySportz Chicago training centers. In addition to other entrepreneurial pursuits, Emily leads events for Designers + Geeks, a networking organization for those in design and technology. She previously grew the New York chapter to over 10,000 members and is now doing the same for the community in Chicago.
Dana Kaye is a veteran publicist, social media pro, and brand manager. In 2009, she founded Kaye Publicity, Inc., a boutique PR company specializing in publishing and entertainment. Known for her innovative ideas and knowledge of current trends, she coaches her clients on how to identify and establish their unique personal brands. Kaye is also the author of Your Book, Your Brand: The Step-by-Step Guide to Launching Your Book and Boosting Your Sales, and the creator of Branding Outside the Box, where she helps driven entrepreneurs and aspiring leaders become more memorable.
