About the speaker
Andrea Vinkovic is a ceramic artist exploring the personal and archetypal symbolism of visual language. She kick-started her career with residencies in Gangjin, S. Korea and has exhibited her work locally and internationally since 2001.
She describes herself as mathematekoi (a curious one) using clay. Inspired by fragility and organic beauty she investigates the delicate balance of natural environments, intrigued by the parallels with cultural environments.
