Alex Smilansky

Before starting Mayku, Alex lead the strategy team at Mint Digital, a london based digital product development studio. Whilst there he helped build online platforms for companies like Tesco, public sector organisations like the Cabinet Office and startups like TRX. Alex studied Design & Innovation at Goldsmiths.

Mayku wants to give you the power to create your own things. That's why they're building a family of mini machines that let you start a production line from your tabletop. Their first product, the FormBox, is a desktop vacuum former that makes beautiful things. It raised over $588,000 on Kickstarter in May 2016 and will be launching publicly in the summer of 2017.
