Andrea Buttrick explores the meaning of abundance in community

About the speaker

Andrea Buttrick is a storyteller, activist, kindler of fires, and in charge of celebrations. She has hiked the mountains of New Hampshire and the desert of Arizona; and runs wherever she is. She is fueled by movement and juniper, other peoples’ stories, and her husband’s music.

Andrea currently works as the Communications Coordinator for Food Conspiracy Co-op, Tucson’s full-service grocery and wellness store on historic 4th Avenue. There she weaves together stories of the 50-year cooperative history, the current work opening pathways to healthy food for every person, stewardship for ancestral lands of Tohono O’Odham and Yoeme peoples, and practice as an anti-oppression organization.

Andrea also serves as The Manager for several music projects most notably those of Joshua Butcher, including Little Cloud, his solo work; and the iconic work of Barnaby and the Butcher. She is also offering guidance to the progressive rock project of Johnny Glennon, entitled Of Models and Muddles.
