A love letter to a place

Karl Schussig and Benedetta Venturini are the co-founders of Sweetlands Live, a London-based event agency, and the creative force behind Flash Festival Tuscany — an intimate music, food and wine festival set in the rolling hills of Castiglion Fiorentino.

Karl brings over a decade of experience producing world-class live experiences, from global arena tours with artists like Foo Fighters and Taylor Swift to premium brand events for Aperol, Amazon and Nintendo. Benedetta has spent her career at the heart of the global festival industry, working with Live Nation on iconic UK festivals including Reading, Leeds and Download, and with AEG Presents across Lido, BST Hyde Park and All Points East. Alongside her festival work, she leads intimate food and wine retreats through the Tuscan countryside - slow travel experiences for small groups that go deep into the producers, landscapes and traditions that define the region.

Together, they created Flash Festival as a love letter to place. A gathering that celebrates the particular magic of Tuscany through music, cuisine, wine and genuine human connection. Four days to reset, reconnect and celebrate life’s most meaningful pleasures.
