Know your worth. Do you know your value?

Change often doesn't come to your door step with warm chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk. Endings sometimes will just not feel good.

Many endings are going to hurt. They are not going to feel good and are going to make you feel uncomfortable. They will not seem fair.

I knew the minute that I performed that poem, that my life had changed.

The weight of knowing that I was not in the right space started to weigh on me.

I felt in my soul and knew it as sure as I knew my name — that I was placed on this earth to write.

If you don’t respect yourself and you don’t show that you respect yourself, nobody’s going to respect you.

For me, movement is life.

No one owes you anything.

Balance can be kind of boring.

Never be afraid of change 'cause wonders are waiting for you right on the other side of change

The expectancy of creating a better future is part of the reality of our lives. Let's face reality.

Brave people accept changes and enjoy wonders, however, brave and committed people to make changes and create wonders

A dissatisfied pessimist is like a brake to himself and others, but a dissatisfied optimist is the one that is always one step ahead of others.

Let's be a reason for the future not a result from the past.

Even through small actions such as self reflection and conversation, we can create ripples that go on to effect change no matter how small they may be.

Question why things are the way that they are and to look deeper in those uncomfortable places. Look after your mental health while you're doing it.

Inclusion and compassion don't belong to any one culture, philosophy, or religion. The universal: when we can see ourselves in other people and other people in ourselves, we recognize our shared humanity and can have greater understanding.

We all have the same universal desire which is freedom from suffering and pain. Our wellbeing depends on rising together and looking after each other.

We have a material dependence on one another.

We need one another to survive, to grow, to learn, to live, to live, and to better ourselves. We can't do this alone.

Institutional discrimination needs to be acknowledged before real inclusive change can happen.

As a wider society, we have a massive blindspot to the beliefs that undermine socially marginalized people and to the privilege that many of us have that continues the lack of understanding of equity.

[Intersectionality] is so important and useful in highlighting where privilege and injustice meet.
