About the speaker
Hannah L Drake is a blogger, activist, public speaker, poet, and the author of 9 books. She writes commentary on politics, feminism, and race and her work has been featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine. Her work has been recognized by Colin Kaepernick, Ava DuVernay and she was recently selected as a Muhammad Ali Daughter of Greatness. Hannah’s message is thought-provoking and at times challenging, however, Hannah believes that change dwells in the realm of the uncomfortable. “My sole purpose in writing and speaking is not that I entertain you. I am trying to shake a nation.”
