There is a huge demand for advice.

As makes and designers, we often talk a good game about building things that are going to last and help people, but how many of us can say that right now we're working on something that is going to be around at the end of our species?

Playing together in public is inherently a political act.

Spending your life trying to feel good is really bad advice for a lot of other reasons that we know. I think we all know that that can be a very unfulfilling way to go through life.

Do what makes you happy is bullsh*t advice.

The feeling of fulfillment comes from doing something for another. The feeling from fulfillment comes from the exertion of time and energy for someone else.

We would put ourselves at great risk for our companies if we knew that our companies would put themselves at great risk for us.

If we don't love our work, we don't look out for each other.

Less advice. More empathy.

We find ourselves in this privileged position as people who make things and people who can change the world.

The infinitely large is actually determined and constrained by the infinitesimally small.

Just because I understand your point of view, doesn't mean I have to agree with it.
