If your soul is invisible you need to feed it invisible things like love, laughter, joy, silence and compassion. That is what your soul is craving.

Know that you’re not alone and that stuff will get better over time however painful it is at the moment.

It was kind of like my behaviour started to shift and that the depression had become a trigger and a way for me to explore a new side of my personality.

That feeling of depression is so hard to put into words. I feel like it’s a kind of silent scream inside you that’s eating you up. It’s just nibbling away bits and pieces of you, and suddenly there’s a huge chunk of you missing.

I think music is an incredible experience that we can all enjoy.

I want more people to go out to more places more often.

When you’re existing and really experiencing that moment, that’s a higher plane to be on.

In a world full of notifications and feeds, it’s more valuable than ever to really hold your experience and your awareness.

I think now more than ever we really need amazing music venues that really allow audiences to pay attention and to listen.

Who is the music for? What does it do to the listener? Is it ceremonial in some respect? What’s its purpose? What are you as the audience supposed to do when it’s happening?

Music is mind control.

I think you need to make space. Physical space creates mental space.

To be successful as a creator I think you have to trust yourself.

I think list making is really really important, and putting down a kind of vision. Because once you’ve put it down there it makes it much more tangible and much more likely to become a reality.

If there are things that you don’t like doing, find someone who likes doing those things and work with them.

It’s a great job to be a designer. I think it’s transformative, and the aspect that you can create these realities is really exciting.

I think that’s fundamental to everything I’ve ever done, is having a belief that you can do it without necessarily having the skills to do it.”

What's interesting about pseudonyms is that they kind of give you a little bit of anonymity, so you can hide behind it.

Design is kind of like a fiction, it's like storytelling. And when we design we create a version of reality.

The idea of what reality is is kind of critical to what designers do.

What we perceive as reality is different for all of us.

There's no such thing as reality.

We are all pioneers...Each of us must find a sense of belonging for the first time in our own lives. Belonging is not a country. It is not singular. It is not a noun. If anything, I would say it’s a network. It’s a community. And we have to make community. We have to knit them together with these shared passions and vulnerability and kindness and encouragement.
