At the core of our identity, we share a reality that we are all human.

We think we are supposed to be passionate about what we do, but when we are passionate about who we are it changes everything about what we do.

In a culture that elevates what we do and the value of the individual, we struggle to see beyond just ourselves. We struggle to see the bigger picture of who we are.

I believe who we are is way deeper than what we do.

The act of turning the page is revealing something unknown. And if you can play with the reader’s anticipation and feed into it, then you’re making it an interactive experience that’s also memorable.

We always look for stories that are memorable and surprising, and something that you’ve never heard before.

If anxiety feeds itself, so, too, does confidence

It's seeing the things that we used to avoid and developing the muscle to be able to look at truth and say this is where I am right now. And will you come in?

I didn't know who I was as an individual. I didn't know what my interests were, what my goals were. So, it was extremely hard for me to connect with people, because I didn't know what it was I was trying to connect with.

Our job is to be relentless advocates for love and for delight...because it matters.

If you move in a certain direction and never retrace your steps to try a different path - there's a whole lot that you may miss.

If you can't understand your current perspective, your current framing, before you start digging into the unknown, you're basically positioning yourself down one road only.

...context is boundless - while it is boundless, the human mind has certain ways of framing things. As people we love to look at things as specimens...that's rarely the entirety of the story.

The thread that has allowed me to work across different disciplines and industries has been my curiosity for understanding context.

There's two parts to our role as creatives... and that's in understanding context...but then there's also the really critical part in creating context and that goes outside of what we classify as work in our "jobs".

As creatives clarity and meaning are a huge part of what we do.

Am I really going to wear a business suit and unicorn slippers on stage in front of 300 people? Yeah, why not?!

Imagine a world without curiosity. It would be rather pale, kind of bleak.

When I was three years old, I distroyed goverment property. Some would blame my parents, and they would be right.

I was quite certain I that was going to be a millionaire by September 2008. We launched in August. I'm still not a millionaire, so my math was off.

What you measure is your mission. Whatever business you are doing, if all you are measuring is your bottom line, well that's your mission, the bottom line. But if you are measuring something that has to be measured through the story - meaning actual change, actual real life stuff happening - well, then there are some things that can only be measured by the story; they can't be measured by a number.

And we have to ask ourselves, "Am I just consuming life, or am I actually cultivating life."

Follow your curiosity, and by doing that it may lead to a passion. But even if it doesn't, so what. You're still having a good time.
