In 2021, people are expecting more experiential value from their surroundings. A growing trend of “phygital spaces” merge the physical and digital worlds allowing for the creation of new kinds of immersive experiences in our everyday built environment.

Designer Tapio Rosenius explores the concept of “ripple” through the notion of how our digital lives are beginning to seep into the physical spaces and how those spaces can adapt to become more contextual, sustainable and relevant. This talk intents to inspire conversation on the fluid nature of the future built environment and offers stunning visual examples of already build and up-and-coming digital-physical spaces.
