Creative Mornings Yerevan: March Reflections on Local

This month at CreativeMornings Yerevan, we welcomed Armen Hakobjanyan - a contemporary painter whose work moves through memory, landscape, and the meaning of art today.

During the talk, Armen reflected on how globalization no longer feels distant. Today, the global often begins from the local from the streets we walk, the environments that shape us, the memories we carry, and the stories rooted deeply within us.

Through his artistic vision and personal experience, he explored the delicate moment where the local becomes global, and the global, somehow, returns to something deeply personal.

A quiet pause where time slows down, and thoughts, memories, emotions, and meanings begin to take form on canvas.

It was a conversation about identity, belonging, and the invisible connection between place and creation reminding us that even in an increasingly connected world, authenticity still begins from within.
