What an honor it was to intentionally celebrate Black History Month with @cornettalane, @ifayomi_, @thekitchengenealogist, and @nourish______.
Together, we experienced CreativeMornings/Detroit’s first-ever film screening featuring Grandmother: LAURA by @cornettalane of @studio8278detroit and Until It Feels Like Worship (@feelalikeworkship) by @ifayomi_. It was impossible to leave the room without feeling deeply moved by their stories and energy.
And of course, the vibes were carried throughout the morning by DJ @just_shacoi of @undergroundmusicacademy.
