Feb 20 Recap - Keep walking!

“An unhurried pace that is patient, open, undefended, and humble is a force — especially in this time.”

Walking as Creative Wonder – An Morning of Movement, Story, and Courage

Jonathon Stalls
Jonathon Stalls, book WALK Slow Down, Wake Up, and Connectr at 1-3 Miles per Hour.

In a room softened by breath and sound, we were invited to slow down.

The morning began with a simple walk — cold air, open sky, trees as quiet witnesses. Side by side, strangers became companions. Movement wasn’t just physical; it was relational. It was grounding.

Through stories from a cross-country walking journey, we traveled alongside hawks, rain-soaked highways, unexpected “trail angels,” and children rediscovering play. We explored walking as resistance, as dignity, as vulnerability, as human right. We felt the discomfort of mobility injustice. We remembered the innocence of wonder.
