Christian Gstöttner is the founder and managing director of OBSCURA Advertising Agency, and TFCITD, it’s in-house film production company. After completing his studies in Communication Sciences, he founded his first film production company, together with a partner. The reason: no more unpaid internships. And so in 2016, OBSCURA was born and evolved in to an advertising agency and film production company, followed by the spin-off of TFCITD in 2020. As an innovator, Christian tries to challenge industry norms and do things differently and not take the status quo for granted. Things like work-life balance and New Work drive him to continue to grow, along with continuously searching for the most exciting ideas for the best marketing channels. OBSCURA works with clients such as Ottakringer, Volksbank, simpliTV and Mercedes and, as an “agency of the heart”, values respectful interaction, diversity, equality and New Work.
