Where do you draw your inspiration?
-The sky’s the limit when it comes to inspiration. Sometimes I listen to a song and become so moved by the lyrics, and I begin to build a story around the song. Sometimes I watch a documentary (for example, the history of Tupperware) and become inspired by the lifestyle behind the product - I then begin to build a performance around the lifestyle. I’m also known for making my own outfits, so many times fabric is what inspires me and leads me in a certain direction. I just never know what is going to spark my creativity.
