Meet the team: Rosie Rees

Say hello to Rosie, part of the dream team behind so many of the visuals you see at CreativeMornings Edinburgh.

A graphic designer by trade, Rosie brings a deep love for design that connects people. If you’ve been to our events, you’ve probably seen her filming sweeping shots for our reels, chatting to everyone with zest and charm, and making a beeline for the pastries before they disappear.

We’re so lucky to have her on the team. Read on to get to know her better.

Hi, Rosie! What project, personal or professional, are you most proud of?

Creating the brand identity for Old Pal Bar & Kitchen, this was the first full branding project I did by myself and it feels amazing to see it in real life and say “I did that!”.

How do you overcome creative blocks?

Recognising when I’m not feeling my most creative and taking time away from my laptop. Doing fun creative activities that don’t involve work like CreativeMornings, Ladies Wine Design and all that Edinburgh’s creative scene has to offer has been a huge help for me this year.

What’s a creative goal you have for this year?

Finding a new job that fits my goals and passions, working with great people and not settling for something that won’t inspire me. I’d love to work for a design agency specialising in food and drinks!

Favourite breakfast/lunch/dinner spot in Edinburgh?

Spitaki, their Greek food and hospitality are unmatched and their spicy feta dip is to die for!

What’s a memorable piece of advice you’ve received?

Don’t tone down your personality to please others, especially in the workplace - be unapologetically you, that’s what makes you special.

Where can we see more of your work?
