Yi Shi

Yi Shi (who goes by “Shi”) is a China-born, world-traveling impact investor who thrives where creativity, innovation, and meaningful change intersect. Having lived in nine cities across six countries, Shi has built a career bridging finance and environmental impact—and now channels that global journey into his role as Client Portfolio Manager and Impact Specialist at a leading Swiss bank.

Educated in physics, environmental studies, and management at Berkeley, Yale, and the University of Toronto’s Rotman School, Shi pairs analytical rigor with an artist’s instincts. Beyond the numbers, he’s an actor, writer (with one of his plays adapted Off-Broadway), and singer—ranging from musicals to a cappella to performing with his rock band at work.
