Additional details

Hosted by: Chris Allen

Learn how to make more creative & impactful photos for social media, your business marketing, or even just friends and family sharing. This workshop is a hands-on smartphone “photo-walk” on West Haywood Road in West Asheville with a bit of quick instruction, guidance and then “in the field” feedback during our photo walk. In addition to tips and techniques on how to use your smartphone to make better photos, we will focus on 3 core themes: Design, Metaphor, and Story. Participants must have basic familiarity with how to use their smartphone (iPhone or Android) camera.

The workshop will run 2 ½ hours, 9:00 - 11:30am with the last 45 minutes being a meeting at Dobra Tea House for feedback and collaborative/creative discussion on the team’s photos. Tea/snacks are at participants’ own expense.

RECOMMENDED: Participants should install the free photo editing app “Snapseed” on their Android or iPhone device and have some familiarity with it prior to the workshop.

Meet at 9:00AM sharp in the Ingles parking lot (back section near the road) at 669 Haywood Rd.

This is one in a series of Creative Workshops on Saturday, August 26 to celebrate CreativeMornings Asheville’s 1st Birthday! BIG thank you to our Workshop Hosts for making this happen.
