About the speaker

Katie Krawczyk is the ever-active, ever-inspired CEO & Founding Partner of 19 Ideas since in 2011. Bringing a deep background in communications and strategy to the foundation of the company, Katie’s detailed visions of partnership, collaboration and integration have made for a culture of success and trust – clients and staff alike. As 19 Ideas grows, so do its partners and the surrounding community; Katie works tirelessly to create an atmosphere that inspires others to also champion this growth in their daily practices, both personal and professional.

In this same spirit, Katie’s progress-minded focus led 19 Ideas to be named the fastest-growing company in Western New York (WNY) for three years in a row – a top-five finalist in 2018 – and a consecutive name on the Best Places to Work in WNY list every year since 2015. It’s how her leadership draws the right people in to align, and together, Work With Purpose.

Katie has 20 years of broad-ranging experience in public and private sector work in Buffalo, NY, Washington, DC, New York City and Seoul, Korea. She has extensive expertise in developing and implementing targeted communications strategies aimed at reaching internal and external stakeholders, as well as the media. Katie has a proven track record of managing a wide range of successful creative projects and is particularly adept at making strategic recommendations tailored to an organization’s unique needs, goals and objectives. She has a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from Indiana University Bloomington, and has earned professional certificates in Business and Strategic Communication Management from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and Ithaca College. She also studied Public Administration at Erasmus Universiteit in Rotterdam, Holland.

Katie currently resides on the board for the Richardson Center Corporation—of which she is currently the marketing committee chairperson—and is a founding board member of Persistence Preparatory Academy, a K-8 charter school located on Buffalo’s East Side. Katie has served on several boards throughout her career, including the International Institute of Buffalo, Canisius College Women in Business Center, The Eric Wood Fund, and Hasek’s Heroes. She is a graduate of Leadership Buffalo (2016), a Buffalo Business First 40 Under 40 honoree (2016), an ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award finalist (2018) and winner (2019).
