Charmaine Minniefield shared the VISION of the Praise House

We explored VISION at Uptown Atlanta in partnership with The Hambidge Center. Visual artist, Charmaine Minniefield was our speaker and shared how VISION inspired her creative work. VP of Creative for Alloy, Kelly Rosenberger and VP of Communications and Media Relations for Atlanta Beltline, Meghann Gibbons were our onstage spotlight and shared the inspiration behind the redesign of the Beltline website. Attendees were also able to view The Hambidge Center art installation.

About the speaker

Charmaine Minniefield has served as a consultant, producer and arts administrator for over 20 years, working with a wide range of organizations on innovative projects with national impact. As an artist-activist, her work intentionally pushes back against erasure, displacement, misrepresentation and marginalization by reclaiming cultural histories. Her work is featured in a number of public and private collections and as a muralist, her walls can be seen throughout the City of Atlanta and beyond. She serves on the boards of C4 Atlanta, T. Lang Dance and Alternate ROOTS and as faculty for Spelman College and Freedom University.
