About the speaker

Tony is a creative problem solver who has a background full of diverse industry experiences, ranging from forestry, to white tablecloth dining, to development for non-profits. He has been in the food industry for 10 years. Prior to working as the Director of Cincinnati COOKS, Tony was an Acting Partner/Restaurant and Culinary Manager at Bonefish Grill.

At the Freestore Foodbank, Tony is Director of Cincinnati COOKS! Where he supervises and directs 5 programs within Cincinnati COOKS, including: a 10 week culinary training for unemployed and underemployed people, 8 week advanced culinary training program, Third Course Intern Program, Kids Café and Summer Feeding program, and Cincinnati Cooks Catering.

In his free time, Tony enjoys all forms of outdoor recreation, fishing, kayaking, physical conditioning, and power boating. He holds a private pilot license VFR and also volunteers as a mentor for Big Brothers and Sisters.
