Welcome Timothy Goodman to the CreativeMornings stage!

Timothy Goodman is an award-winning artist, designer, and author based in NYC. His work has populated walls, galleries, clothes, products, packaging, and books for organizations such as Apple, Nike, MoMa, Netflix, YSL, Google, Tiffany & Co., Saks Fifth Avenue, The New Yorker, and the New York Times. His partnerships include a global collection of clothing with Uniqlo, and a Nike shoe for NBA basketball star Kevin Durant. He’s created over 250 murals, and he regularly donates art for communities in NYC—including a 5,500 square foot b-ball court at P.S. 315 in Brooklyn, and a sanitation truck for the city of New York. Timothy is the author of three books, and the co-creator of several social experiments including the viral blog & book 40 Days of Dating, whose TV rights were optioned to Netflix. He’s had two solo gallery shows, he teaches at School of Visual Arts, and he speaks around the world at creative conferences. Timothy’s work often discusses topics such as mental health, manhood, and love. His graphic memoir I Always Think It’s Forever was published in 2023 by Simon & Schuster.

Marvin Carter

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Marvin Carter started playing the saxophone at the age of nine. He attended The New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music where he graduated in the Spring of 2022. He has performed at some of the most recognized venues and music festivals in the world including NYC Winter Jazzfest with the Revive Big Band led by Igmar Thomas at Brooklyn Bowl. Marvin Carter is currently playing with his own band throughout NYC at notable establishments and will be releasing his own album - coming very soon.

Miles Wilkins

Miles Wilkins is a New York based pianist and keyboardist. Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, he moved to New York in August of 2017 to study piano at The New School for Jazz, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in May of 2022. Since then, he has been a full-time performer, producer, and session musician, playing shows both in New York, and abroad. He currently resides in Harlem, New York.
