About the speaker
Marie Hald graduated as a photojournalist from the Danish School of Media and Journalism just two years ago, but she has already made a name for herself with a number of prizes and awards - and of course some amazing photos.
She won first prize in the 2012 CPOY Documentary category and has exhibited at the Copenhagen Photo Festival. In 2013 she came 2nd in the category 'Observed Portraits' at the World Press Photo awards and the same year she won 'Picture of the Year' at the Danish Press Photo awards.
