About the speaker

Tim Buesing counts studying art and design in Berlin in the 1990s as a big influence on his creative identity. “Basically anything was possible and up for grabs. And if you failed miserably in whatever you were creating that was OK too.” His professional career is marked by a mixture of design, advertising and creative technology, and took him from his native Germany to Finland, England and finally Australia.

Always striving for innovative ways to communicate and fusing human behaviour with technology brought Tim a D&AD Black Pencil for Innovation. He frequently speaks at creative events like AGDA, VIVID, Semi Permanent or Sex, Drugs & Helvetica.

As Group Design Director of Fjord he currently leads product and experience design in Australia and New Zealand.
