About the speaker
Artie Sandstone is a Boulder-based artist, entrepreneur, and storyteller whose work explores creativity, connection, and the power of human potential. Before stepping fully into the art world, Artie co-founded a biotechnology company at the age of 26, leading it for 14 years through the highs, challenges, and growth of innovation in action — including taking the company public. A life-changing climbing accident became a turning point that reshaped his perspective on life and purpose, ultimately inspiring his return to art.
Today, Artie works out of his studio and gallery space in downtown Boulder, creating vibrant pop-art that invite people to pause, smile, and reconnect with their own sense of wonder. His work — rooted in themes of love, peace, and presence — encourages others to see creativity not just as expression, but as a way of living with intention and joy. He sees every blank canvas as an endless opportunity to create — and believes that true innovation begins within.
