Stephanie May is a Nashville photographer, helping people discover their own beauty.
“I got into photography because I thought it was fun and I thought it was sexy, but I didn’t expect to change anybody’s life,” Stephanie shares with the Nashville audience. The photographer finds joy in exposing the beauty of women (and men!) and helping people find that in themselves. Shooting glamor portraits, the photographer works with her clients to design and direct a vision to capture that special shot. Clients have returned telling her that her photos have changed the outlook they have on the world and themselves.
When not shooting photos, Stephanie is a burlesque dancer, an activity she has found instrumental in accepting herself, accepting her own sexuality, and being able to put it out there for others to see.
About the speaker
Award-winning photographer Stephanie May Saujon owns and operates a La Photographie Nashville, a glamour portrait studio where she and her team offer complete makeovers, styling, and photo shoots for women. Since 2007, she has photographed hundreds of women from all backgrounds, including mothers, career women, college students, burlesque dancers, and models.
Stephanie has been called "the modern-day Bunny Yeager," and delights in getting to know her clients and capturing their most beautiful assets. She is skilled at helping ladies feel sexy in front of the camera, as well as providing top-notch retouching and custom styling.
In addition to glamour photography, Stephanie is accomplished in wedding photography, maternity portraits, and live burlesque photography. Her work has appeared in Professional Photographer Magazine, Details, Glamour, and The Huffington Post. Her unique style was featured in the how-to book Boudoir Photography: A Guide to Excellence.
