Misinformation, disinformation, deepfakes and fake profiles are exploding online. It’s critical to take a proactive approach to defend yourself whilst remaining active.

This session covers steps you can take to stay aware of Gen-AI advancements, whilst remaining safe at the same time.


Agenda

  • 1. Basics of online safety on social media, including safety settings for popular platforms (Instagram, 𝕏 (Twitter), LinkedIn).

  • 2. The importance of being aware of the advancement of Gen-AI creative tools to protect yourself from deepfakes, misinformation and disinformation.

  • 3. Taking control of your personal brand and identity, and steps to take online to know your existing presence and how to build that to defend against potential AI misinformation.
