About the speaker
Sharona Eliassaf is an American/Israeli artist who has been splitting her time between Tel Aviv and New York City since childhood. As a result her art is deeply affect by the changeable notion of place, the surreal and the sublime.
She holds a BFA from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jersualem, an MFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York, and also attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Maine.
She has exhibited her work both nationally and internationally and has been included in numerous publications.
Now based permanently in Tel Aviv, she is currently showing her most recent works in a solo show “Making Ends Meet” at the Hezi Gallery, Tel Aviv.
