Design matters. Kelsey Oesmann shares how design can show us what’s possible and help us build a better future for all.

Design can be many different things: a practice and a profession, a process, a service, a tool, a way of thinking, being and living, a culture. It’s the process of dreaming and planning, creating and curating, and leads to building a better future. As an architect by training, real estate developer by profession, and community advocate by practice, Kelsey knows that design has the power to transform. She has seen this firsthand while designing affordable housing in Nashville. Kelsey shows us how designing for collaboration, sustainability, accessibility, connectivity, resilience, and people, can recognize, celebrate, highlight, and make space for the inherent dignity in people and places.
