About the speaker
I'm a social entrepreneur, a feminist, a doer and a people person. I am the co-founder and director of Seljak Brand alongside my sister, Karina. We imagine a world without waste and find news ways of creating beautiful things that are regenerative and sustainable by design. Our first product is a closed loop merino wool blanket that is made in Tasmania. I am currently living in Malmö, Sweden after recently completing a Masters in Sustainability. Forever wearing multiple hats, I'm now a Project Manager at leading Scandinavian digital marketing firm APSIS and missing the Aussie sun like crazy.
Previously, my passion and time was consumed by the Brisbane community! A few years with Gilimbaa Indigenous Creative Agency coupled with the launch of the The Box, an art space that was a collaborative community initiative, kept me busy enough. Not to mention engaging thousands of Brisbane punters weekly with the expression session dance event No Lights No Lycra for over 3 years.
