Irene Trancossi

Irene Trancossi is an Italian photographer and artist born in Fidenza and based in Milan. Sisterhood, feminism, inclusivity and listening are central themes in her research that span the worlds of art, music, and fashion. With her images, Irene builds on stories informed by her personal experiences and mythological and popular tales.

The realism represented in her warm colours and meticulous light effects go beyond the ordinary, expressing a constant tension towards a world of alterity and intimate, dreamlike visions in which mythological, spiritual and magical echoes resound.
