Critical. is a green products and clean technology startup on a mission to end global plastics pollution. They do this through the Critical. Cleanstone, their range of beautiful, durable, 100% recycled plastic panels for building fit outs. At the end of life, Critical. buy them back and reprocess it into new Cleanstone again and again. Their global goal is the deployment of Critical. micro factories into every city in the world starting in Aotearoa and Australia, by partnering with both iwi and indigenous franchisees to scale both environmental and social impact.

Rui is the co-founder at Critical, an architect by training, a technology tinkerer by curiosity and love the hustle of entrepreneurship. He resides in Puketapapa with his wife Halee and three tamariki Theo, Anabelle and Malachi.
