Ruben Topia

Ruben Topia is a Dutch artist/illustrator living and working in Tilburg, the Netherlands. His work focuses on creating balance in a world of confusion and chaos.

Since childhood he created little villages with materials he could find in and outside. His main profession is illustration. He uses drawing as a medium for meditation, a way to communicate with visual form and as a way to explore the unconscious.
Important inspiration comes from architecture, meditation and literature.

His project Rutopia is a visual exploration to find the kingdom within and combines the eastern and western symbolism into one utopian landscape.
