Robin DiGiammarino

Robin DiGiammarino is a founding member and the President of Navy Yard Garden & Art, a volunteer-run nonprofit based in Charlestown. What began as a grassroots effort among neighbors to restore two large perennial gardens in the Navy Yard has since evolved into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Navy Yard Garden & Art is led by a dedicated volunteer board of directors committed to revitalizing this unique corner of the City of Boston through the power of public art. And yes—the two perennial gardens from the very first project continue to thrive. Robin holds a master’s degree in occupational therapy. Her background also includes public service as an elected member and Chairperson of a school board, and experience in mediation and conflict resolution. She is passionate about community service and determined to make a difference. Robin loves travel, vacations by the ocean and floral design. Most of all, Robin loves learning from and playing with her six grandchildren.
