I think it's worth asking yourself that question; am I holding back from doing this because either I'm worried about the effort that I'll need to put in to make this a success or am I worried what other people might think if I fail?
The reality is for most things in life, success isn't like leaping off a cliff; it's like running a marathon. It's a huge amount of continuous effort that you need to put in.
I think if you're really going to be in something for the long haul, then you need to be prepared for a little rain sometimes
I'm no longer as scared as I used to be, because over time I've given myself the confidence, through applying this process, taking something which seemed difficult and breaking it down working my way towards it step by step and then achieving it. Then repeat and repeat.
I was worried about failure, and I was worried about being seen to fail
(Courage is a skill) There is nobody, I believe, who is born fearless. We're not born with an innate courage to tackle any challenge or take on any difficult mission.
I do believe that we can become more courageous, we can become braver by applying this process (of breaking down difficult tasks); it's a skill, you can learn it and you can get better
Having the resistance and persistence to keep going even when life gets really difficult is much more important and much more powerful
We're trying to create a culture that's relaxed and friendly and acknowledges a healthy work/life balance
