Tommaso Magio

Reality is hard to define, but somehow has to deal with our personal culture. Every time you step in a new country, city or job, you enter into a different reality. Tommaso Maggio italian designer and researcher, worked in Milan, Italy, in Mexico City, Mexico then in Bangkok, Thailand. His PhD studies are conducted with a UK university and his latest papers have been presented in Chicago, Bangkok Shanghai and Hong Kong. He will talk about his own experience and what he has learnt from it.

Senior Lecturer at Department of Product Design, Assumption University, Thailand. He is a PhDc with a focus on alternative ways of education at Planetary Collegium, Plymouth University, United Kingdom. He has collaborated as Creative Consultant and Creative Director for public and private institutions in Italy, Mexico and Thailand. Previously he was a full-time lecturer at CommDe, Chulalongkorn University, a visiting lecturer at CEDIM Monterrey, Mexico and at NABA and IED Milan, Italy. In Italy, he was a selected member of the National Observatory of Design, ADI Association for Industrial Design for the 'Compasso D'Oro'​, the first and oldest Industrial Design Award.
